Ett antal
Vickulas-hundar som har gått i avel hos andra uppfödare har gjort hjärtultra ua.
Några exempel är Vickulas To Do, Willy Wonka, Xanté, Zorro, Ztrajk och Znoka.
Flera har gjort, ett axplock är Vickulas Orka,
Zeta, Zyrah, Åysan, Dutch Dynamite Devoted Dena, Cafayos A-Yuluma med flera syskon
och Axxa.

AS SOME PEOPLE TALK
Regarding Vickulas Robbie,
put to sleep at 6 years of age re. to heart insufficiense.
The autopsy did NOT show primary DCM
and not MMVD. The right
side was more affected than the left. Valves normal.
Similar to ARVC -
arythmic right side cardiomyopathy. A disease that is inheritable in boxer
and has been seen in single cases in other breeds.
Regarding
Vickulas Whoopee. She was put to sleep from
acute heart insufficiense.
Massive leak in the
pulmonal valve and enlarged right chamber. A week later the heart was enlarged.
Has nothing to do with MMVD or DCM. Autopsy showed endocarditis. She had a
moderate amount of Streptococcus canis and a severe amount of Clostridium
perfringens in her lungs and heart.
Yes, there are dogs with MMVD in
Vickulas X-litter. They are now 10,5 years of
age and all are doing fine. And yes, their father had siblings that died to
early from heart diseases. He himself is still here, now over 15 years of age.
And yes, Xanté has U/S heart done before breeding and the last one at 7
years of age and fine.
Our imported dog "Nitro",
AU CH Lorroy On the Run, got a slight murmur at 7,5 years of age. He
lived til 14 years of age. Of course his progeny were checked with U/S heart
before breeding. Two are bred from, A-Yuluma and A-Yatala. Both with normal U/S.
Two more siblings are checked and ok. They are now 10+ years and all fine.
A-Yulumas progeny in my Z-litter are checked before breeding, including Zeta
(not bred). Five checked and five fine.
Just for your knowledge...
There are a lot of Vickulas-dogs checked by
auscultation when visiting the vets, both in younger and older ages. Most of
them are fine, also up in the older ages. U/S is done for my breeding dogs.
